Heavy Machine: Neon Heart & Devil's Kiss

New Heavy Machine footwear. I posted the Neon Heart and Devil's Kiss models but the entire 2011 line is fire. The Heavy Machine lookbook is available for download. Below, a couple more looks and the damage.

Devil's Kiss features include leather upper and stud detailing with silver hardware. A buckle strap and a 3 1/2 inch heel.

Neon Heart's featurs include a patent leather upper and velcro strap openin. Cut-out details and leather lining. Concluding with a 4 1/4" heel with a hidden platform. Both shoes are open toed and have plastic lacquered heels.

Monica premiered the new video for one of my favorite songs off her album Still Standing called "Love All Over Me." The song is co-produced by Jermaine Dupri and Brian Michael Cox and has that "90s R&B ballad" feel that I love.

This video however, is absolutely fierce. Monica, as usual, is looking fierce. The basic concept of the video is that she's torn b/w her old lover who came back after being in jail (played by rapper Manio) and her current fiance (played by NBA ballplayer Shannon Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers). Who hasn't been torn against the old and new flame? Kudos to a dope video for a dope song.

Study Says That Women Spend $25,000 On Shoes In A Lifetime

I truly thought it was more.

From age 14 onward, women will end up purchasing 470 pairs on average throughout their life.

The survey of 3,000 women, by Gocompare.com, shows that the average woman has about 19 pairs of shoes – three pairs with heels, six pairs of flip-flops, sandals, ballet pumps or wedges, three pairs of boots and four pairs of “foxy-style” shoes for nights out.
They also have two pairs of work shoes and another two or so “random” purchases.
Four in 10 women say they judge another female by the shoes she has on.
More than half find it easy to justify a purchase to themselves but a quarter rarely tell their partner about new ones as “he wouldn’t understand”.

"A cream leather belt with a gold buckle I found at a vintage store in Santa Barbara for ten bucks. I wear it with everything now."
