Denim-like: Alexander McQueen Leather Peep-toe Boots

I am soooo glad to see Alexander McQueen do something else other than skulls and zippers. It started to become just a bit too much for me. But boy did he redeem himself with the Alexander McQueen Leather Peep-toe Boots. The boot is made of leather but at first glance it looks to be denim. How haute right?

The Alexander McQueen Leather Peep-toe Boot heel measures in at 4.5" with a 1" platform. I like the cone shape of the heel as well as the blue marble detailing wrapping the heel. And is a pull on rouched boot designed for easy on and off. Although the editor's notes say you can wear them with a pair of skinny jeans, I do caution you to not try and match up your denim with the boots. Trust me, it will be a sure #fail. Otherwise, carry along you fashion forward divas. I'm sure you'll make mama proud however you choose to wear'em!
