The GAP’s older, wiser, and more sophisticated sister Banana Republic is taking a page out of the top designers hand book by introducing a resort collection. What makes this capsule collection great, and unlike the designer lines is that it will be available and rotating designs year round. The year round "Luxe Leisure" line will be comprised of 40 pieces including swimwear, tunics, and rompers with prices ranging from $30 to $100. Information on the line is still developing, but the line looks to be an in store only option, and according to reports will only be sold in warm weather stores, which I’m assume are warm winter vacation destination. In addition to the warm weather stores I’m also hearing that there will be limited findings in select stores which usually means large cities such as New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. So fear not when you’re on a winter vacation in Hawaii, Florida, etc you can find a swimming suit and cover up appropriate for the trip courtesy of Banana Republic.
