YSL should be proud, it is estimated to be thee red carpet shoe of the year. The number of times the YSL Tribtoo Platform Pump has actually been worn on the red carpet is not officially recorded, but it is known to be on the red carpet more than any other shoe designer out there. *Wow* That says alot. Available in suede or patent leather, the Tribtoo Pumps can be purchased in grey, black, red, blue, and an off white / grey-ish color. And as awkward as it may sound, with its 5 1/2" heel, it is said to be quite a comfortable pair of heels.

Well it looks that YSL Tribtoo Platform Pumps are once again re-inventing themselves and creating quite a buzz with its new Pre-Spring grey patent version. Although an exclusive to Netaporter, Saks has a darker version of the shoe available since the Netaporter ones are flying off the shelves faster than bread and milk does during a snow storm. Check the pics below which feature the light grey patent leather slip on pump with a heel that measures 6"! (I'm sure it's more like 5 1/2") It has a 2" concealed platform. When I first ran across the Dollhouse Tish Pumps, I first went ewwww, then I said wait a minute, are these fools attempting to copy the Christian Louboutin Lace Bootie? If so, these are a true definition of epic failure. I don't know where the failure starts first, is it the textured sole and heel or the tacky texture of animal print on the shoe. Or is it just because the knock off is just soooo bad! I just don't know. But in all fairness here are the facts. The Dollhouse Tish Pumps have a 4 3/4" heel with a 1" platform that are both covered with studding. There is a chain detail that wraps around the ankle as well. I can't go on, I just cant! Star Studded: Steve Madden Tristano Pump

Steve Madden isn't just known for his down right copy cat'ing style, there are times when he really does make an official almost original style shoe. That goes to say that these Steve Madden Tristano Pumps are one of them. Now I'm pretty sure I've seen this done on another shoe...ummmm.... Gucci I think, as far as the studding on the heel. I won't go out on a limb and say that no one has done the heel and the platform, come'on lets just admit it, Steve Madden isn't all that original *giggle*. Anywho, moving along...these Steve Madden Tristano's are a 100% plush suede round toe pump. The heel measures in at 4 3/4" with a 1" platform that are both adorned in two-toned studs.
