In an effort to revamp their image, eBay hopes to show this audience that eBay is the place to pick up great "flea market chic," vintage duds and high-end antiques by making available avenues through which to find these goods. According to the site's editorial director, Meredith Barnett, the target shopper is someone "who is sophisticated, has a sensibility about fashion and lifestyle and may be familiar with eBay, but maybe not the full extent of everything it has to offer."
Somehow I've never linked fashion- forward to eBay but I could be totally wrong here. For the eBay fanatics, do you guys find good things there? What's been your best/favorite purchase?
