One thing that we can take from Carrie Bradshaw’s style guide is carefully crafted ensembles. Oddly enough, belts are fashion's most underrated accessory. I sometimes get so focused on the perfect shoe or the glamour of the IT bag that I loose sight of how much umph a belt can add to an outfit. When you really think about it, belts, can not only trim off those five extra pound that you’re hoping no one notices, but they all add instant pizzazz to the simplest of outfits. Let’s face it, belts are a recessionista's best friend. Belts help transform almost anything in your closet, after all, waist not, want not, right?
