"Stressed, Distressed and Destroyed"
I am designer jean junkie. No seriously! I have people at Saks and Nordstrom that just love to see me coming. I'm euphoric when I walk into a really good Saks store that denim department is on point and a great display. I am also a junkie to a pair of distressed/destroyed jeans. Now as simple as it may sound there is an art to the distressing and destroying of the jeans. Too much and they look tacky but just the right amount and they will become your favs! Here are some of mine.
The J Brand Pencil Leg In Zombie. We have all seen Rhianna more than a time or two in these pants.
And Beyonce too...
But when I tell you that I received an early morning notification that these babies had reached a Saks near me, I was on it and there on my lunch break! I adore these pants. The wash on it is insane and it has just the right of destroying done to them that its not an overkill. They have distressing done on the front and back pockets for added detail.

The Citizen of Humanity Avedon Skinny jeans. Hello my name is Meka and I am a jean junkie and yes I have these too but in black. You know how you are in the fitting room and that lovely sales person comes and says "you should try these on too" and the other magical words "we just got these in" yup! That seals the deal. What I like about these are the stretch in them. Often a pair of jeans dont give enough "give" and then they are squeezing the life out of your tush! These pants are a skinny jean. They have the shredded-destroyed look on the front and some distressed in random places throughout the jean. They are shown here in white but as I stated they also come in black.

The Abercrombie Erin Skinny Destroyed. My Abercrombie size days are in the past. I have not been able to find a pair that doesn't squeeze me to death in the rump area. None the less these are some cute pants! They are 100% cotton so these may be a go with a good fit. They have hand-done destruction with blown-out holes and they don't break the bank.

The Alice + Olivia Spatter Ripped Jeans. At first glance they look a little weird but if you take a good look these jeans are haute! The perfect bleach blend of the black, white and gray is sure standout. And the shredded holes are not just focused on the front of the jean but it is also accentuated on the back but still manages not to be too much. Paired with a cute white tank and you're all set.

The Rich & Skinny Vintage Love Boyfriend Jeans. I like the fit of the boyfriend jeans. Who says that everything has to be very tight to be cute. These pants have all the breathing room you need without missing a beat on the fashionable side. It has shredded holes and bleach spots randomly on the front and back of the jean. With worn spots and moderate distressing throughout.
