"Food For Your Sole"
We are going to switch it up a bit here at Pumpsicle. Normally we are giving you the details on the hottest shoes. But if you got a mean shoe game but your toes and heels are "mean muggin'" that doesn't equal out. I wear heels just about everyday. Not because I have to, but being that I am height challenged I feel the need to have them on. Truth be told if you wear heels as much as I do and don't take care of them as you should is when you get bunions and dead dry ashy skin. Yuck! I despise nothing more than to look down at a persons foot and it looks like they have been playing soccer in flour! Or their heels are so cracked and caked with dead skin if they rub them against you they may draw blood! Pedicures are essential!. As often as possible, I like to go once a week or every two weeks if I am being lazy. If a routine pedicure isn't in the budget invest in some "do-it-yourself" pedicure products. So you can take care of your feet. Here are a few items:
A pumice stone: they can range from $1.00 and up (depending on your taste) and they come in many sizes and shapes. A pumice stone can be used on wet or dry feet, i recommend wet. And be careful not to rub too hard or it can be painful. Here is one by Sally Hansen for $5.99 at Walgreen. I purchased one from Sally's the other day for $1.00.

A heavily concentrated lotion/cream: I recommend True Blue Spa's Shea It Isn't So Shea Butter Foot Cream. It can be found at any Bath and Body Works. Its a thick shea butter cream that leaves your feet sooo soft. It costs about $15.00. But trust me, its nothing a little Vaseline can't do.

After you have scrubbed and lotion time to polish the toes: Most people opt for those "do-it-yourself" french manicure/pedicure kits. Which can be found in any drugstore. My experience with those things is that it looks good from a-far! Get up close and the lines are crooked, one is thick one is thin...not for me! Color for nails and feet are in. It seems the brighter the better. And some still opt for the black...I wont say much but not for me! Me looking down at some black toes covered in black polish just sends off all the wrong signals. OPI is my favorite nail polish! I think I love all their Brights and they have a new Matte line that is hot for the coming fall season. I recommend you visit their site. They have coolest interactive session. You get to pick your hand, change your skin color to closely match yours, and then play around with the different colors to see which one you like the best and you even get to increase your nail length or shorten it. CUTE!
